FAQ
Questions contractors ask before they buy.
Short answers about maps, filters, alerts, plan fit, and what happens next.

How current are the storm maps and alerts?
Storm Scout is built to help teams react faster when storms hit their markets. The best way to judge timing is to review your markets in a demo and compare it to how fast your team needs to move.
Why use Storm Scout instead of a static hail swath or broad canvassing list?
A broad swath shows where the storm passed. It does not tell you which streets to work first. Storm Scout helps you narrow the map with filters so reps spend more time on better roofs and less time wandering a big zone.
Can Storm Scout help us target owner-occupied homes, older roofs, or other better-fit properties?
Yes. Storm Scout can filter by storm date, hail size, roof age, property type, and owner context so you can build a tighter working list.
Is Storm Scout better for canvassing teams, inside sales, or managers?
All three can use it. Reps get better streets, inside teams get cleaner lists, and managers get better timing and territory visibility.
What happens after a demo or pricing conversation?
You talk through your markets, plan fit, and how your team works today. Then Storm Scout helps map the right next step for setup and usage.
How should we think about alerts and deployment timing?
Use alerts as a faster way to spot storm activity in the markets you care about. In the demo, compare alert timing to the way your team actually deploys after storms.
Can the team use Storm Scout from the field and from the office?
Yes. Storm Scout supports phone, tablet, and desktop access so managers, inside teams, and field reps can work from the device that fits the moment.
Can carriers and adjusters use Storm Scout too?
Yes. Contractors are the main audience, but carriers and adjusters can also use the same storm, property, and map context when they need a clearer field view.
What happens after I submit the contact form?
Storm Scout gets your request and follows up using the contact details you provide. If a direct submit path is configured, the form sends right away. If not, the email fallback still gets you to the team.
How do I know which plan is right for my team?
Start with how many markets, reps, and storms you need to cover. Bronze is for validation, Silver and Gold are for active response, and Platinum is for bigger teams that need more control and support.
